Terms of Service

By connecting an account to Shimmer or using the Shimmer software, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use Shimmer.

Shimmer is a personal AI agent. It reads accounts you connect (Gmail and Outlook email, Google and Outlook calendars, contacts, Drive files you choose, and optionally WhatsApp), organizes the results in a knowledge base you control, and helps you draft, decide, and respond. Outbound actions, like sending an email, run only after you approve them. Shimmer runs in your own isolated instance, operated by Shimmer. You are responsible for the accounts and content you connect.

• Only connect accounts you own or have permission to use.
• Don't use Shimmer to violate the law, infringe rights of others, or send unsolicited messages to people who haven't asked to hear from you.
• Keep your credentials and your Shimmer instance reasonably secure. Tell us at hello@shimmer.fyi if you suspect a problem.

Shimmer talks to third-party services on your behalf (Google APIs, Microsoft Graph, WhatsApp, language-model providers, optional search). Their terms govern your use of their services. Shimmer is not responsible for outages, billing, or policy decisions at those services.

Shimmer is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. Outputs are AI-generated suggestions — you decide what to act on. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Shimmer.

You can stop using Shimmer and revoke its access from your Google account permissions or Microsoft account permissions at any time, and unlink WhatsApp from its Linked devices screen. We may suspend access if the service is being used in ways that endanger other users or violate these Terms.

These Terms may change as Shimmer evolves. Material changes will be announced on get.shimmer.fyi and dated above.
